I had the honor to shoot Sara and Brian’s engagement photos this Summer.  They live in Illinois, and would be having their wedding there next year.  They decided to come down to South Haven for their 6 year anniversary and have their engagement photos taken at the same time.  Sara’s family comes to South Haven almost every year for vacation so this town has special meaning to them.

We met at the beach, just after sunrise.  It was so nice having the beach practically to ourselves.  We walked around the beach and all the way up to the South Haven lighthouse, taking fun and beautiful photos.   Sara and Brian’s wedding theme is floral and they really wanted to make sure to get photos with flowers. Luckily, the last place we went, Wau-Ke-Na William Erby Smith Preserve, had a big part of the field covered in this gorgeous purple wildflowers.  I had such a great time hanging out and getting to know Sara and Brian.  I hope their wedding turns out perfectly!
