Rachel and Ben had a classic Christmas engagement.  They had a private celebration a week before, steak dinner and everything.  The last present that Ben gave Rachel was a ring.  She said yes and eight months later they are now saying I do.

Rachel and Ben live in San Diego, but they decided to have their wedding in Holland, MI at the beautiful CityFlatsHotel.  Holland is Rachel’s hometown.   All week, it looked like their wedding might get rained out.  Even the morning of, the radar was showing rain almost all day.  Luckily for us, that was not true and everything cleared up about two hours before the ceremony.  We did get rained on a little bit but nothing these two couldn’t handle.  They had both their ceremony and reception on the top floor of the hotel, or also called CityVū Events.  From here you have almost a 360 view of downtown Holland and the surrounding river and wetlands.

Their wedding was one of happy tears and laughter and their reception was all about great food, great people and having a great time.  Congratulations Rachel and Ben.  I hope you two have a great new life together!
