Erikka and Jason met when they were both working part time at Pottery Barn. It took almost a year before Jason finally worked up the courage to talk to Erikka and ask to hangout outside of work. He actually got the help of his former brother in law (who also worked at Pottery Barn) who acted as his wing man and worked by getting information out of Erikka, during that time.
Getting engaged took almost the same amount of effort. Jason had this whole plan to pop the question the weekend they were going up north for a friend’s wedding in Boyne City. But due to arriving late and Erikka’s unitential blocking, it took till the fourth attempt before Jason was actually able to get down on one knee and ask Erikka to marry him.
Their wedding day went at lot smoother. They had both the ceremony and reception at the beautiful Baker Lofts in Holland, MI. During the ceremony, there were happy tears from both Erikka and Jason. There was also a good laugh when the best man pulled out a ring pop instead of the actually ring, as a inside joke. The reception was just as sweet and fun. The dance floor was definitely everyone favorite place to be, especially for all the little ones. It ended up being the perfect night of love and celebration.
Congratulations Erikka and Jason! I had such a fun time hanging out with you two on your special day. I wish you two all the joy and happiness in your new life together!
