Erika and Stephen’s relationship started out long distance.  Erika lived in Indiana, while Stephen was over here in Michigan.  They started to play the Nintendo game, Animal Crossing together and boded during that time.  Erika finally moved up to Michigan four years ago.  Last year, they decided to go on a camping trip up in the UP.  They first night in the tent, Stephen pulled out a Zelda Treasure check ring box and proposed.

I had the pleasure of doing their engagement session a few weeks ago. I had a great time hanging out with them.  We met in downtown Holland in the morning to get the beautiful early glow.  They both made sure to bring their Nintendo DS’s with them because they wanted to get some picture of them playing the game that helped start their beautiful love story.  They will be saying “I Do” later this year.  I can’t wait!
