Today, I’m thrilled to share an amazing wedding I had the pleasure to shoot – the unforgettable union of Amanda and Alex at the stunning Bay Pointe Inn in Shelbyville, MI. It was a gorgeous summer day. The whole wedding was right next to a beautiful lake, making it the perfect backdrop for Amanda and Alex’s love-filled celebration. From the get-go, it was going to be a day to remember.

The day started out so sweet with a heart-melting first look between Amanda and Alex. Moreover, they decided to add their own special touch to the day by exchanging personal vows before their ceremony. Witnessing their intimate exchange of promises was nothing short of magical. They were both in happy tears by the end, making it just the sweetest.

Their ceremony was just as sweet and romantic. It’s hard not to be with the gorgeous lake behind them as their backdrop. As Amanda and Alex said their “I dos,” surrounded by their closest family and friends, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

Transitioning to the reception, which was held in a pavilion right on the water, the energy was electric from start to finish. From heartfelt toasts to epic dance-offs, there was never a dull moment. Not to mention, the photo booth was an absolute hit! Guests couldn’t resist grabbing props and boogying down on the dance floor, turning the reception into a full-blown party extravaganza.

As the night came to a close, I couldn’t help but feel grateful to have been a part of Amanda and Alex’s special day. Their love, laughter, and zest for life were truly infectious, and I know their journey together is only just beginning.
