Emily and Peter met over three years ago when Emily was a sophomore in college.  Peter had just transferred from a community college near his home in Illinois. He ended up going to the same campus ministry that Emily was involved in.  They were friends for almost a year before he finally asked her on their first date.  Peter proposed during a rainy tip to Sleeping Bear Dunes a year and half into them dating.

They decided to get married at the River Edge Bed and Breakfast in Lowell, that Emily’s parents own.  It was just the cutest place right next to Flat river and the day turned out perfect for an outdoor wedding!  The ceremony was all about love and god and the reception was about family and friends.
