Joey and Amelia’s love story began through mutual friends, with a serendipitous connection that tied back to their shared hometown of Zeeland, Michigan. During a Friendsgiving party at Central Michigan University, Amelia met one of Joey’s friends. Surprisingly, they discovered they were both from the same hometown. Even more coincidentally, Amelia had graduated with his cousin and sister.

Because of that small-world connection, Amelia was invited to go bar hopping in downtown Holland, MI the following night, just before Thanksgiving. As luck would have it, Joey was already at the bar when she arrived. From there, the night quickly unfolded into playful flirting and easy conversation. By the next day, Joey reached out and asked Amelia on their first official date. From that point forward, their beautiful journey together truly began.

Fast forward to now, and that journey led them to a day they will never forget—their wedding day. For this special occasion, Joey and Amelia chose the breathtaking Revel Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Without a doubt, it was the perfect setting for a West Michigan wedding. The sun shone brightly, the sky remained crystal clear, and the atmosphere was filled with love and laughter.
