Donna and James were on a trip together in the spring of 2019 when they went to Tennessee. They were hiking a part of the Appalachian Trail when James decided to “do” a bible study. He started to read Corinthians 3:13 about love.  It didn’t take long for Donna to catch on to what James had planned.  She even freaked out and said “Is this really happening”.  That is when James popped the question.  They are now getting married August this year in Holland, MI.

For their engagement session, they wanted to go to Benjamin’s Hope.  It is a foundation that James’s mother started for his brother.  It is a community for people with disabilities.  It is a place of great importance to them.  They also wanted to have some fun during their engagement session so they decided to bring along some props from their favorite sci fi worlds.  It ended up being a battle.  Donna being a fan of Lord of the Rings and James loving Star Wars.  Don’t worry, no one was hurt during this session.
