Morgan and Evan: Country Engagement

Morgan and Evan’s country engagement session felt like a scene from a romance novel. We met at Morgan’s farm in Reed City, MI, where golden fields and rolling pastures created the perfect setting. The session started in a wild daisy field, adding a soft and romantic touch. Later, we moved to the cow pasture, where the Morgan and Evan laughed and embraced as the cows curiously watched. The entire shoot captured their love story—playful, authentic, and full of country charm.

Morgan looked stunning in a flowing blue dress, while Evan kept it classic in a button-down. Their outfits added a timeless feel against the rustic backdrop. As the sun dipped lower, they changed into jeans, embracing the casual, relaxed side of farm life. Just as we were capturing some sweet moments, a sudden downpour interrupted the session. We took a break, waited for the rain to pass, and then returned to the fields. The fresh rain only added to the beauty of the evening, leaving everything glistening in the soft light.

Their love story began in 2020 on Hinge. Morgan, intrigued by Evan’s dairy farming background (and his ability to fix just about anything!) sent a reply that sparked something special. A few years later, Evan planned the perfect proposal. On Valentine’s Day, they met in Traverse City for lunch and a walk near the Grand Traverse Commons. Morgan suspected nothing until Evan asked her to marry him on their second walk through the trails. She said yes, and now they’re planning their spring wedding at Mill Pond Event Center in Kalkaska, MI.

I can’t wait to capture their wedding day! Until then, enjoy their gorgeous engagement photos, set against Michigan’s beautiful countryside.
