Kristi and David: 10 Year Anniversary

Kristi and David have officially been married for 10 years. Not only did I know them from high school but I have been taking their photos every year, starting with their wedding! This session marked their 10 year anniversary and they wanted to make it extra special!

Kristi and David wanted to return to the park where they had gotten married. The session started out like any other. Getting some nice photos together and of course getting some with their fur babies. But once all the nice photos were taken, it was time to have some fun. Kristi and David had decided they wanted to add some color and bang to their 10 year anniversary session. They brought with them not only smoke bombs but powdered chalk. They were about to have a battle!

All geared up with blue and orange chalk (their wedding colors) and nice and clean white/black clothes, they took their places. The first part was pure chaotic battle, with each having two chalk bottles in hand, they went to town on each other. Once the initial battle was done, they then starting to get more creative. The filled their hands with the chalk and tried to leave their mark a specific places. They even doused each other’s hair for a very fun end result. Of course, they had to shoot off some smoke bombs to end the day.

This was one of the most fun sessions I have done. I am so happy for Kristi and David and I can’t wait to photograph their anniversary next year!
